  7.     The entrepreneurial spirit is one thing that Oliver North
  8. apparently didn't shred. Since North's testimony at
  9. congressional hearings about his role in the Iran-contra
  10. affair, he's won praise and been the target of verbal potshots.
  11. Perhaps inspired by the latter, he has gone into business as
  12. partner in a firm that sells body armor -- more popularly
  13. called bulletproof vests -- for law-enforcement officers.
  14. Although he said last week that he "feels safe among the
  15. American people," loyal customer North wears one of his
  16. company's vests every day.
